FISHI “Fresh Island Seafood” or as our kids call their fish dinner “FISHI” is a family run business located from 2 premises Hamilton Island and Cannonvale, Airlie Beach. Officially started in 2013 by Matt and myself who have been full-time residents of Hamilton island since we met in 1998. Recently moved to Airlie Beach to expand.
Matt has an extensive fishing background which started as a toddler fishing with his father. He has worked as a boat skipper & a local recreational and commercial fisherman ever since. While I (Bronwyn) have been involved in food and beverage and the wildlife park for the best part of 14 years.
Between us we carry a great general local knowledge of Fishing, Food & Beverage and our surroundings. We also take our pristine environment seriously, ensuring that whilst providing a fantastic service we are environmentally aware in all aspects of our business. This has also been awarded by GPRUMPA naming us as Reef Guardians in their ‘Reef Guardian Program’ which we are very proud of.
FISHI’s mission statement is dedicated to supporting the Australian Fisheries, promoting local product as a forefront.

Fresh Island Seafood is an fully accredited processing facility is located in the iconic Hamilton Island Marina and now a new larger facility at 5/22 William Murray Drive, Cannonvale. Offering us direct access to the pristine waters of the Whitsundays and all that swims in it!
